Dog teethIt always seems to come as such a surprise - the annual exam of a family pet who appears perfectly healthy. Owners expect a clean bill of health are now shocked to hear that Fluffy has dental disease.

We always regret to inform you of any health issues related to your beloved furry family member but this is a key reason for us to examine your pet once or twice per year — to detect problems before they get worse and to educate you about "invisible" health issues.

Dear cherished clients,

Dr. Jennifer DerbyFor the past 12 years I have had the privilege of becoming a part of the lives of so many wonderful patients and their owners. It is now time for me to move on to the next stage of my life which includes a move away from this incredible community to be closer to my family. As I head off to this new adventure it is certainly bittersweet, hard to imagine leaving everyone but so exciting to see what is next. Thank you all for your trust in me, your support of me and for making this place my home through good and bad. I will forever be thankful to have been part of this community and no matter where I end up I will always cherish my time here. It has been funny and sad and at times unbelievable. It has been amazing.

Although I am sad to be leaving All Animals, I am leaving you in great hands. Dr. Shontz, Dr. Hampton, and our incredible support staff will continue to be stable presences, still providing the wonderful, personal service that you have grown to expect and very much deserve. Dr. Hampton will continue to manage those patients on integrative medicine plans, and I will be sharing those cases with her prior to my departure on June 30.
